Since we went to the Chinese Festival and watched the Lion & Dragon dances, Noah wanted a Lion's head. We have pull-ups box at home, so I made one for him. He started his own lion dance and song "Dong Dong Dong Dong Qiang" (咚咚鏘）！

Since Xmas, I was so busy of working on my final portfolio of my MAT (Master of Art of Teacher). Plus the weather was very cold, we had couples snow storms, we didn't go out much at all.

Phillip bought a power wheel for Noah as Christmas gift last year, but we put it in the family room so Noah didn't know it moves when the battery is charged. Last weekend, it was 70 F outside, so Phillip pushed the car out and put the battery in to show Noah how to drive. Noah was shocked when he saw the car was moving, then he was so excited and jumped into the car right away. He refused to come out after 30 minutes non-stop driving, and finally fell into sleep while he was driving......

Can't wait for spring!

We were surprised that found a package on the front porch this afternoon. It was from Great Aunt Mary and Great Uncle Richard! Both Noah and mommy got birthday gifts! Thank you Great Aunt Mary and Great Uncle Richard! Mommy loves the handmade bowl and Noah loves the Scout~ We opened it right away and installed the software to personalize little Scout. Noah checked out Scout from top to toe, and he loves the music it plays. I printed out a Scout coloring sheet, Noah was serious working on a master piece.

Thank you Great Aunt Mary and Great Uncle Richard! We miss you!

Hockessin Express

Beside fire truck, Noah loves train. 婆婆 always wanted to take Noah for a train ride but never have time. September 12, we went back to Newark for 公公's birthday. 婆婆 found a train tour in Wilmington that goes to Hockessin (DE). It's about 1 and half hour ride. So we decided to take a train ride to celebrate 公公's birthday (? but seems like that we go for Noah's sake!)
Noah was amazed by the real train...the only thing he said was "chi-ge chi-ge chi-ge CHU~ CHU~"! The ride is just ok, but we all had a great time.

Karaoke night

We went back to 公公婆婆's last weekend. 公公 bought a new karaoke machine from New York Chinatown. We were honored to be the first to use it. Phillip loves songs of Ku-Fu movies and TV shows, I finally can see some new MTV of those people I never seen but read from the online entertainment news.

Of course, Noah has his favorite: 兩隻老虎 (two tigers) and 小星星 (twinkle twinkle little stars)。

First day of School

Noah goes to school now! We thought it's time to let Noah meet new friends, read and play together. It's better than stay home with mommy! We bought a bee backpack for him . There are diapers, wipes, snacks, and little toys in it. Even the side packet can hold a cup. He call it "Be-pai-pai". He will hold it when Dora's backpack is singing! He sure loves the bee backpack, but not much about school. After 3 weeks, he still cry when I dropped him off.

Noah 兩歲了！最喜歡的玩具是救火車和卡車。ＣＡＲ是除了爸爸媽媽之外第一個說得清楚的字。最喜歡的動物是老虎和大象，其他也喜歡飛機、月亮、星星、蜜蜂和恐龍。所以這次照像，帶了車子、恐龍和婆婆買的大象。

好忙的夏天

這個暑假又是忙忙碌碌的過了。五堂課搞的我七暈八素，每天都睡眠不足。還好，再過四天這學期就結束了，在九月開學前的兩個星期可以專心帶ＮＯＡＨ。由於ＮＯＡＨ都是我媽在帶，我們又剛搬家，花了很多時間在粉刷整裡上，所以這夏天除了Dutch Wonderland 外，哪也沒去。下星期真希望能出去走走，不然秋季課一開始，又要忙到年底。趁著今天在家寫報告的空擋，把這幾個月的照片整理一下。

Can't believe that I am 38 years old...sometimes I feel I am still 18 (I mean I don't really know what am I doing...)! Today was Noah's first trip to Dutch Wonderland in Lancaster PA. It was a great day and we had lots of fun. We were a little worried that Noah might be to small for many of the rides. As it turns out he no problems. Noah was extremely well behaved. He was fascinated by the sights and sounds of the amusement park. We took him on the bumper car ride, TurnPike Cruiser, and many other rides. Noah absolutely loved all the rides!! Noah seemed to be preoccupied with watching other kids and didn't seem to mind waiting in line for some of the rides. All in all it was a great day and the weather was perfect for a trip to Dutch Wonderland.

The DE Chinese School hosted an Chinese Folk Art Festival in Delaware Museum on May 16th. After the crafty trip, we went to picnic in the Brandywine Park and went to the zoo in the later afternoon. We were so happy to hang out with Holly, Steve and Benton in a such beautiful afternoon. Noah was very happy to run around (everywhere)!

Finally, Spring is here. It's so good to have good weather everyday. Don't fell so lazy and slow anymore. Sorry for being lazy for such long time, we will put more pictures and try to take more in this beautiful spring.

Noah is going to be 21 month old next week. He loves go outside and play in Po-po's yard. He loves flowers and swing. When he rides in car, he pointed at cars and trucks ...they are his favorites too.

I have been so busy these few days and haven't update our family blog at all--I am so sorry! For all our friends and family members, here are our recent photos. Actually we didn't do much after November because the weather was getting really cold and also Noah was sick for 2 weeks. In these past two month we took Noah to a local farm to see giant pumpkins; dressed him up as lobster for Halloween; had a great Thanksgiving dinner with Phil's family; then spent 2 days with my parents in Newark,DE.

上星期五是公公的生日，連舅舅也從加拿大回來了。一家人聚在一起吃喝，還在公公的提議下去了Longwood Garden一遊。除了美麗的花兒，水舞，和造景之外，就屬我 Noah 最可愛了！秋高氣爽，愜意非常。下次等聖誕節再來看燈嘍！

1 Year Old Portrait - Noah 是小大人了！

We finally found time to take Noah to the mall to get his one year old portrait yesterday. We thought there shouldn't be crowded because it was Thursday but we were wrong!!! There were so many people! We didn't make appointment because Noah needs less and less sleep and his nap time changes every day. So we just walk-in and waited for a while. The photographer said that usually there were more people in the weekend than week days during the summer because people coming to take pictures before they go to the Sesame Place. But the last week before school starts, more people come during the week day. We would never think about this if she didn't tell us! Hope I will remember this next year so we won't wait so long.

Noah wasn't in the "smile mood" when we got there. The photography tried to make he smile but he just was very serious and curious about the surrounding and other kids in the waiting room. We brought his favorite toy the elephant car and the Mickey Mouse birthday hat (from Auntie Joanne), he started playing with them but no smiling. We tried several shots then changed his clothes. Noah didn't like to sit at one spot and he crawled everywhere, exploring and touching the props in the room. I have to grab him back and make him stand or sit in front of the backdrop many times. The photographer put a pooh bear on top of her head and pretended sneezing. When the bear drop from her head, Noah finally smiled and laughed. It took us almost half hour to take that few cute pictures. By the end the photographer and I were sweating like dogs!

Anyway, the photographer did a good job and we love these pictures! Noah looks just like Phillip. I am so proud that he is such a big boy now!

Noah got birthday gifts today! This is the best thing of this week!

Our basement was flooded last weekend because 3 days' heavy rain. We tried to move everything up to our living room and also into the garage for now. Our house is a mess. When it rains it pours, my mother-in-low didn't feel good and went to hospital since Wednesday. She had several tests done and finally the doctor let her go home tonight. When there are so much to worried about, Noah received early birthday gifts from great aunt Mary and great uncle Richard. He loves the surprise cookie jar, he can't stop play it until he was very very sleepy and can't even crawl. His laugh made all of us feel much better!

Here are several pictures of him playing the new toy and also drooling at the same time...I believe he will put some of the smaller pieces into his mouth tomorrow...He loves this toy!

Matthew's birthday and mine is only 4 days away. Phillip bought a cake for me on my birthday which is Thursday. We celebrated on Friday (July the 3rd) again because everyone was off for the July 4th holiday. We celebrated Matthew's birthday on Sunday because his birthday is on Monday. So all together, We ate cakes 3 times!

My in-law family bought a mixer for me as a gift...now I have a wonderful tool to make cakes! Ha ha! I did made a rabbit cake for Matthew on Sunday because he put the "order" way back in May. I think he liked it and it taste pretty good. Hum...Noah liked it too!

關公的附加功能

上星期我們去 Tyler 的生日晚餐，餐廳的正廳中有座關公像。遠遠的看到有一坨白白的東西在關公像前，走近了才看清楚原來那白白的東西是一本小型月曆，上面戳了一個洞剛好掛在關公伸出來的兩個指頭上。真是方便啊！不知道關公像除了庇佑生意外還有附加功能哪！

Tyler's Birthday

Last Sunday we went to Tyler's 1 year old birthday party in Philly Chinatown. Tyler's grandma is a good friend of Noah's grandma (my mother-in-law). They have been friends for more than 20 years. During the dinner, 2 grandmas chatted for long time while they holding their grandson. I don't know if the 2 grandsons were chatting in the baby language too?

吃完晚飯，我們把Noah放在小圈圈裡玩。Phillip 和我想吃點冰淇淋享受一下。我們把冰淇淋端上桌，Noah就開始叫，因為他知道我們有好吃的卻不給他吃。只好把他又抱出來，坐在高椅子裡。我用小調羹挖了一點點給他嘗看看，哇！這下可好，這可是他吃過最好吃的東西了，比蛋糕還棒呢！他一邊吃一邊跳，很享受這冰冰甜甜的味道。幾湯匙後，小碗見底了，我對他說“吃光光了“，他還不相信呢，頻頻往碗裡看，大概心裡想，真的沒有了嗎？媽媽會不會騙我？有照片為證喔！

After Dinner, we decided to have some ice cream. Noah saw us and started screaming. He wanted to eat everything we eat! We put him back in the high chair. I scooped a little bit ice cream and gave it to him. He loves it! Now he knows there's something better than cake! He really enjoyed the cool and sweet sensation. After few spoons, we ate it all. I told him "we finished the ice cream!", but he didn't believe me. He kept looking into the bowl... He probably thought, did we really finish this good stuff? Is mommy kidding me?

Noah's new favorite

I was folding laundry couple of weeks ago, Noah came over and played with the pop-up basket. He crawled into the basket and the light-weight basket flipped over on top of his head. He started laughing and played with it and loved it since.

Last night I was folding laundry again and he crawled towards to me at super fast speed. After I finished folding, I went to kitchen and cleaned up. 2 minutes later, Phillip came down stairs and screamed: What's going on with Noah? I turned around and found this...yeah, you saw the picture!

Gee, can't leave him alone for even one minute!

We went to Lulu's daughter, Megan's sweet 16 birthday party Saturday night. Noah dressed up in a button up shirt and he looked so handsome! There were many people we don't know came over saying hi to Noah. He enjoyed watching Daddy playing pool. The picture is with aunt Joanne and cousin Christopher.

We went back to 婆婆's house for few days to see uncle Charles, grandaunt Kuo-Mei, granduncle Herman and Liu 舅老爺. Liu 舅老爺 is 婆婆 and 姨婆's friend. They have been friends forever!

Noah was still cranky because teething. He had fever in the first 3 days, then he got cold. All the adults had fun but not Noah! Even though he was glad to see everyone there. The only way to calm him done was let him watch Moose A. Moose from youtube on iPod or computer!

We didn't go anywhere except a park (on the way of dropping Charles in the Philly airport). Uncle Charles took all the pictures so we will wait until he email us the pictures! Anyway, we are glad to be back home, back to our routine.

上星期成功的做出像杯子蛋糕一樣的黃金海棉蛋糕了。我們一家都很喜歡吃這種杯子蛋糕，鬆鬆軟軟，又不會很甜，比一般蛋糕清爽。可惜只能在中國城才買的到。我費了一點功夫，在網上找到食譜，做了第二次才成功。Phillip 和 Noah 都很喜歡吃，Phillip 可以一口氣吃掉1/4個呢！我沒有杯子的模子，就用9吋圓型的蛋糕模子代替，效果不錯。這樣就不用花汽油錢開到中國城了。

圖片是還在烤箱裡的蛋糕。切開來裡面看起來及吃起來的口感都和中國城買的相去不遠。Noah大吃特吃的樣子（我不敢給他吃太多，他已經夠胖的了）。

Finally I baked a perfect golden sponge cake! All of my family love this cake. It's not too sweet, and lighter than the regular butter cakes. It's only sold in the Asian bakeries in Chinatown. I Google the recipe and found a good one. It took me twice to get it right. Phillip and Noah love this cake, Phillip ate 1/4 cake when there were done! I don't have the cup paper modes, so I used the 9" round cake pans and they worked fine. Now I'll save a lot gas money.

再來一顆！

這兩天Phillip和我都被Noah害慘了。星期三清晨兩點半，他哭著醒來，原來是肚子餓。剛餵飽，突然雷電交加，接著豆大的雨就叮叮咚咚的打下來。雨聲挺催人入睡，可惜那“人“只是我，Noah一聽到打雷聲就嚇的大哭。我只好抱著他，搖椅坐了十五分鐘，雖然不哭了，但此時Noah睡意全消，不睡了。我帶他去客廳看電視，播的卡通是重播無數次的那幾集，我都會背主角的台詞了！再來，到玩具房裡玩他最愛的大象車，二十分鐘見他還是毫無睡意。帶到婆婆床上玩打滾，一聽到打雷聲又嚇的大哭起來。我沒輒了，只好帶他到我們的床上。他頭一沾到枕頭就睡著了。Man--早告訴我不就好了嗎？可以省了那白白耗掉的一個鐘頭！只是對不起老公了，兒子大喇喇的躺在中間，他只能側著睡在床的邊緣。

今天下午在和Noah玩時，發現下門牙右邊又長出一顆小白點。哇塞，一下子長了五顆牙，難怪半夜痛的睡不著。奇怪，小孩長牙這麼快嗎？有這麼多顆一起長的嗎？不是一顆接一顆長嗎？

變成小壞壞的原因

昨天晚上幫Noah洗玩澡後，他一直用手摳牙齒。我突然很好奇想要看他的上門牙長的如何，就不顧他發飆的硬ㄅㄚ開他上唇，赫然發現又有兩顆牙長出來了！原來四顆牙一起長出來，那是很痛的！難怪他這過去幾天每天發飆！我很想照張相，四顆白白一點點的小牙排排站，以為紀念，但我想這一定是不可能的任務！

Noah 的挑戰

Little Noah 最近因為長牙而發燒。他醒著時不斷地磨牙, 口水流成河, 圍兜每小時要換一條, 這還算好. 等到他累時可就麻煩了. 以前只要餵瓶奶, 他的眼睛就會自動閉上, 乖乖的被抱上床。這幾天卻不停的耍賴, 動不動就哭，就算玩具玩到一半，也會直直向我爬來，雙手張開要媽媽抱。剛開始我還挺得意地想，這小子終於會跟媽媽撒嬌了，但不知道抱了一次後就沒法撒手了。兩星期前在九個月的檢查中，醫生說長上面的牙齒是最痛的了，Noah有一顆門牙已經長出來了。沒想到這星期第二顆馬上跟著就破土而出。

星期三下午發現他的額頭火燙，燒到102度F (38.9° C)。餵了奶後接著餵藥，毫不知情的他以為粉紅色的滴管裡裝著好東西呢，張大嘴舔到藥時才發現這黏呼呼的東西味道怪極了。他努力的想吐出來，還用手進去猛挖。我沒防到這招，ㄕㄨㄚ的一下牛奶和藥像白色瀑布般全吐出來了。後來我雖然盡量小心，白色瀑布還是重演了兩次。餵了藥之後三十分鐘，藥效發作，開始猛揉眼睛，猛拉耳朵，頭左右猛甩，想睡覺了。抱他上樓之後，把他放在小床裡。這小肥子力量奇大無比，拉著床邊的木欄站了起來，還猛跳呢！我坐在床尾的搖椅上看著他對著不同方向跳了十分鐘，終於慢慢鬆手倒下來。他抱著布狗狗哭了一會，我以為他已經不行了，居然還搖搖擺擺的拉著床邊的木欄又站了起來。他面向著我，對著我笑。露在欄杆間的小臉上的表情好像在籠中的小狗般，向我說要抱抱！我狠心的不理他，他站了一會後不支體力，往後一栽倒了下來。沒想到這一栽頭給撞到欄杆上。這小肥子平常力量奇大無比，連撞頭的“咚“聲也特別響！不用說他放聲大哭，我心一軟，就把他抱出來，一起坐在搖椅上。好啦，他靜靜的趴在我身上，心裡正想，這會他達到目的後會乖乖睡著了吧的時後，他又開始動作了。起先是唱歌。他哼哼哈哈好一陣子，像是唱歌，又像喃喃自語。接著好戲上場，開始在我身上滾起來。先從面朝上滾成面朝下，我好不容易把他翻回面朝上，他一轉又成了面朝下。好吧，你喜歡面朝下就讓你面朝下吧。面朝下了幾分鐘，他居然橫著滾，用極快的速度從我胸前滾到腿上。然後頭向下壓，整個上身像拋物線般的朝著地面翻去。這可怎麼得了，我費了九牛二虎之力才把他翻回趴在胸前的姿勢。才趴穩了，他雙腳頂在我肚子上，手頂在我臉上，作起俯地挺身來。這我怎麼受的了？Noah快25磅,相當於11.3公斤，比兩袋米加在一起還重。有誰的肚子能承受11.3公斤的肉球在上面彈跳？有時後他還不出其意地手頂著我喉嚨，或是一掌賞在我臉上。我一氣之下就送他回小床裡，他蹦一下坐起來，扶著床邊的木欄又站了起來。結果又擺出可憐小狗的表情要我抱抱。如果我狠不下心，這樣抱進抱出可以來個三五次！等到他真正睡著，也已耗掉一個到一個半小時了。忙玩家事之後，我已是精疲力竭，雙手酸痛不已。

今天溫度保持在99~100度F (約38° C)，早上又打了電話給醫生，也沒跟醫生講到話，護士囑付了一番，說Good Luck!就掛斷了。在美國沒有發燒到104度F (40° C)是看不到醫生的。看來Noah你只好勇敢一點面對你長牙的挑戰，而媽媽我也要勇敢一點面對我的挑戰，就是長牙中的你呀！希望你牙長出來後能恢復成原來的小乖乖！

Memorial weekend

這個週末真是忙啊, 星期五全家和公公去了 St. Jude Shrine. 我們向 St. Jude 祈禱希望爸爸和公公的工作順利,也希望媽媽的暑期學業也順利. 之後去了 inner harbor, 欣賞風景, 及吃了一頓海鮮大餐！

星期天我們去了大姑媽家烤肉, 大家又聚在一起吃吃喝喝. 星期一是真正的假日, 我們反而一天都在家休息, 實在沒力氣再出去玩了！

I was working on my computer this afternoon, Noah was making some noise. I turn around and found he was standing! OMG! In that moment I can't decide should I go over to protect him or should I grab the camera! After seeing he was standing pretty good, I grab the camera and took picture of him as reaching this milestone!

Last week I got a package with new clothes and toys from 姨婆, THANK YOU 謝謝姨婆!! I love the toy key chains, I hope mommy will put my pictures in soon!

Yesterday 公公 stopped by and gave me a Panda bear which was mommy's when she was little. 公公 spent time to find it out and wash it so I can have it. Hummm...something wrong with its nose...Mommy was that you almost chew his nose off?

Mommy took me to visit Auntie Holly and Benton, I was so exciting! Benton you are so cute and you did a good job of growing bigger. We went for a 30 minutes walk together around a park and it was such a nice day. Hey did you remember last time I saw you, you were still in your mommy's belly? We played Rock Band together!

Noah knocked the spoon off my hand when I feed him this morning. He has rice and sweet potato everywhere -- on his face, bib, pants and high chair. He thinks it's funny and started laughing! I was mad in the beginning but can't help to laugh with him too! Of course, that means I have to do laundry when he is taking afternoon nap!

We went to 公公婆婆's house today. 公公 planted a lot of tulips in the yards, them are blooming this week. Some of them as red as fire, some are orange and yellow. They are soooooo beautiful! It's shame that 公公 and 婆婆 were not home, so we took a lot of pictures for them!

Noah first time saw our neighbor's dog, he was not scared at all! After lunch, Noah and mommy took 3 hours nap--so Noah didn't go to bed until 10:30 PM tonight!

Rabbit cake and chocolate cake recipe

I baked 2 cakes for Easter last week and we all love the cakes. He and I can eat a whole cake by just ourselves! It's not easy to find a good "not so sweet" cake receipt and I would like to share them with you.

The rabbit/vanilla cake

Cake:
3 cups (470g) all purpose flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 1/2 tsp. salt
16 tbs. (2 sticks) unsalted butler
2 cup (500g) granulated sugar (I use 1 1/2 cup, so it's not so sweet)
4 eggs, lightly beaten
1 1/3 cups (340ml) milk
1 1/2 tsp. Vanilla extract

Butter cream:
4 tbs. (1/2 stick) unsalted butter
1 1/2 cups confectioners sugar sifted
1 tbs. milk
1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
Pinch of salt

Beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs a little at a time. Beat well.
In a small bowl, combine the milk and vanilla. Add flour mixture in three additions, alternating with the milk mixture and beginning and ending with the flour.
Bake at 325 F (165 C) for 45 to 5 minutes.

I used chocolate as eyes and nose. Chocolate icing as eye lashes, mustache and ears.

Dark Chocolate Bundt
3/4 cup cocoa
1 3/4 cups hot water
2 3/4 cups flour
2 cups sugar (I used brown sugar)
1 cup shortening
1 1/2 tsp, baking soda
1 1/4 tsp. salt
1 1/4 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp baking powder
2 eggs plus 1 egg white

Combine cocoa and hot water, stir until cocoa is dissolved. Cool to room temperature.
In large bowl, combine remaining ingredients. Add cocoa mixture, beat on high speed 3 minutes. Bake at 350 F for 55 to 65 minutes.

Easter

What a fun Easter! All the family members got together and enjoyed this beautiful Sunday. Although it was a little cold outside but we still had a wonderful Easter egg hunting. Christopher had his cool sunglasses and Matthew just dig in his chocolate rabbit. JJ was so handsome in his suit. Noah was trying to figure out how to eat the lollipop! By the end he only got some sweet taste by chewing the end of the stick.

I made a rabbit cake and a chocolate star cake, Madeleine and Josephine poked the eye balls (chocolate) out of the rabbit cake and made it "blind"...

I loves my toys!

Noah's daily schedule is routine now. After first morning get up, he will have breakfast and watch morning news with Mommy. After 2 hours, he will take his morning nap. After that is his "happy hour" - half hour in the play room! 婆婆 bought him a music Penguin that he loves to push it around to make music. Also he loves the Sponge Bob Square Pants ball. Auntie Theresa bought him a play table has 15 music buttons and keys that is one of his favorites now.

We usually play another half hour and read some books later in the afternoon.

Noah loves Sponge Bob the Square Pants and Yo Gabagaba, His favorite is the host "Moose-A-Moose" from Noggin. When Moose comes out at the puzzle time or music time, he laughs and screams to welcome him. Sometimes his excitement is saying hello to an old friend.

Chinese New Year

We thought we lost all the pictures of the Chinese New Year. After we went home from the New Year's dinner, I put the memory card into the printer's card reader but found nothing. We tried several times by insert the card to different card readers or cameras but still no luck. Finally we bought another 4 GB CF card. In the package there was a software call RescuePro that scan the old card and saved all the pictures. There was only one picture was damaged. We were very happy that we got to see the family pictures after all.

Noah was so cranky that night, he can't stop screaming and crying. He had tears on his face in the family shot. Anyway, we hope everyone has a great year to come.

Noah is 5 month now! Unbelievable, a tiny mini infant now is a big baby! Noah talks a lot and also screams a lot! He loves to join people's conversation and give his two cents. :)

He started eating baby food by spoon. He loves eating baby food than drinking formula.

Only thing he can't do id turn over! He is like a little ball so he probably needs to lose some weight in order to turn over!

Happy Birthday Uncle Stephen

Last weekend we got together for Uncle Stephen's birthday! Gee, so many babies were there! We were all talking in our own languages and who cares for the cake??? Uncle Stephen got a lot of gifts. I am glad he had a great time.

I skipped my afternoon nap so I was cranky at the end. Emily has too much hair, I am so jealous. Mommy, why didn't you put a hat on my to cover my big bold head? Anyway, it was good to see everyone.

Snow man sleeper

We started dressing Noah in all his Christmas outfits for the holiday. This snow man sleeper is super cute! It's starchy and wrapped around Noah's little fat arms and legs, made he looks like the "Michelin" man... :)

He still couldn't sit straight for long. He likes daddy holding he and watch TV together.

Yesterday we went shopping in Franklin Mill mall. Po Po and Mommy bought a lot of clothes for me! It was very interesting to look around. They all seems very busy and in rush of buying things. I was very quiet and behaved, Mommy said I was a very good baby. It was snowing after Po Po left our house. I miss Po Po very much!

This morning, mommy opened the curtains and wow--there's a layer of white covered on everything! It's my first time seeing snow, and I said "bo bo" with bobbles in my mouth to acclaim the beauty of winter. After breakfast, I sit in my red car and try to drive from the living room to dining room. Well, I didn't really get far because Daddy was too busy to video taping me instead of pushing my car!

Hi Santa!

Monday night, Mommy dressed me up and took me to meet with Santa. I was very exciting and happy to get out of house! It was cold out side but I fall into sleep in my warm seat on the way.

Finally, I saw Santa, he sit in front of a giant Christmas tree, and smile at me. He is very friendly but very skinny. Look at myself, I have way too much food. Man I have a good life!

The big bear and Elf by the trees are as cute as me, so Daddy and Po Po hold me up so I can look closer. I had a great time to meet with Santa, but it was more fun to look at the decorations on the tree. I told mommy to take me back next year, I will have longer conversation with Santa and maybe share my bottles with him.

Noah's first Christmas tree

Friday, the day after Thanksgiving, is our "tree day". We went to the tree farm to select Noah's first Christmas tree. Noah was cranky in the afternoon, maybe because his schedule was mixed up by holiday and also he has stuffed nose. It was cold too, he must be thinking in side of his little head--get me out of here! I want to go home!

Theresa and Kenny also picked a tree with us this year. Last year we got the trees together and both of our trees fell down at same night. Can't believe it's been a year already! We will take time to decorate it in this coming week.

Giving Thanks

Happy Birthday to Joseph!

J.J. is one year old!! We got together to celebrate. The food was so good and we were happy to see everybody again. Joseph was exciting and waving his little arms when he saw the candle and the birthday cake.
After dinner, we stayed over night at Fawn's house. After bath, Josephine, Joseph and Noah were playing together. Josephine is a big sister now. She kept touching Noah and said "oh baby baby"! So cute but Noah was just looking around!
Thanks to Fawn of giving us a lot of JJ's clothes. Noah grows so fast that he couldn't fit in 6-month clothes we bought 2 weeks ago. I spent 2 days to clean up smaller clothes and put them away. Now we stocked up 9-month clothes but who knows how long they can last?

A Fall afternoon in Washington Crossing Park

We went to Washington Crossing park this past Sunday afternoon. The park is only 15 minutes from our house by the both sides of Delaware river in PA and NJ. I pass by there everyday on my way to work. It was here that the Continental Army under the command of General George Washington landed after their historic crossing of the Delaware River on Christmas night 1776.

This was the first time we used the baby carrier to take Noah outdoor. He kept looking around and tried to figure out where he was. The cool air and red leaves made this fall afternoon crystal clear just like the scenery from printed calendar.

Great Aunt Mary sent me a "glow in dark" shirt, it is so cool!!! I love it so much, and the best is it fits me!!

Scarecrow Festival

Last Sunday was a beautiful day. Holly, Alicia and her little girl Kaitlin met us in Paddler's Village to see the scarecrow festival. When we saw each other, Holly broke a good news--she and Steve are expecting! Oh Yeah! A baby is on her/his way!! Congratulations! We walked around to see the dog parade, also checked out some cool scarecrows. I was pretty much holding Noah all the time because he didn't like sit in the car seat when he is awake. He was very exciting to see all the "strange" things around him...

We stopped by DQ and sat down for awhile. Holly helped feeding Noah (Good job, Holly! You got practice!) and Alicia treated us ice cream. After that we went through the outlet but we didn't buy anything. Kaitlin was so cute in her little pink jacket and she helped push Noah's stroller all the time. Thank you Kaitlin, you are a good helper!

This is the best time of the year, too bad that Phillip was sick and stay at home (watching football!) :( Hope next year we will come back and enjoy a beautiful fall afternoon again.

Lazy week

This week has been gone so fast! We took Noah to Oxford to "show off" one Monday. We went to the Pediatrician on Tuesday (oh, btw, Noah is 15 lb and 8 oz now!). My dad came over to spend a day with us on Wednesday. We didn't do much on Thursday...then today is the last day of my maternity leave...will go back to work next Monday. I kind of miss work but also like the day spend with Noah at home too. Look at his little face, he is growing so much everyday. My mom said he looks different every week. I just feel he weight much heavier day by day and sometimes I had hard time to pick him up!

Last Saturday we got together for my auntie Theresa's birthday. She was the birthday girl but I was the star of that day. So many people lined up to hold me, I was hot! We had great time that day. This coming weekend is Christopher and my Daddy's birthday. Next weekend is Josephine's birthday, and them Uncle Tom's birthday is coming too...wow... so many birthday cakes I am going to eat! Oh, wait a second, my mommy said I'm not old enough to have cake...how about some ice cream them?

Great aunt Mary sent us a very cute pumpkin costume. It's size of 3 month old but our BIG little Noah fit perfectly now! We know Halloween is still one month away but we can't wait to dress him in this cute outfit.

We went to grandma's house this past week. We didn't do much except sleep and eat. But just sleeping and eating made me feel so relax! The only trip was going to Rehoboth beach on Wednesday. We just walked along the beach, sight seeing then went home. Everyone had yammy ice cream except me...mommy said I am too little to taste it...OK, here is one more reason that I want to grow up fast! Thursday my mommy took me to Babies R Us for my first glamour shot. Here they are, I hope you will like them.

Uncle Charles took a lot pictures by his new fancy camera during the week. I can tell he likes me very much. He watched me and held me when my mommy having her beauty sleep. My mommy will put more pictures online as soon as she get those pictures.

Noah's baptism

On September 13 we celebrated Noah’s one month and also his baptism. Noah’s was baptized in Old Saint Patrick’s Cathedral in New York City. This was same church we were married in a year ago. It was a very special day we celebrated with our family. Steve and Joann were Noah’s godparents. Noah’s baptismal name was Patrick, which was chosen by his great uncle Father Andrew Thi who performed the baptism and celebrated mass. Noah was asleep through out the mass and also through the baptism. Wei’s brother came all the way from Canada to share in the happy occasion. After the baptism we had lunch in Chinatown. This was Noah’s first trip to New York City and also Chinatown. Noah slept through all the noise of the city and the crowed Chinatown streets. Nothing seemed to bother him and he was very content in stroller. We had about 30 guests for lunch and the food as usually was very good. Noah received many nice gifts and also got some money. Great Uncle Father Andrew gave Noah a very special gift. The gift was a gold replica of the Bird Nest Stadium from the summer Olympic in China. Great Uncle Father Andrew brought the gift back from his month long trip to Hong Kong and Taiwan. We were very happy and overjoyed on a very special day for Noah. We know there will be many more special days. Noah has brought into our live so much happiness and joy we often wonder how ever lived without it.

One month old

Today Noah is one month old. Can't believe how fast time flies. Last month this time I was in the hospital delivery room. Now Noah is a happy and big boy, already started exploring this world.

We had a little cake to celebrate his "one-month-old day". Daddy blow the little blue star candle and made a wish for Noah. Our biggest wish is hoping Noah is happy and healthy everyday, and enjoy love and life.
